Assiade Primitivo di Manduria Riserva

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS:

From grapes, the fruit of old, bush-trained Primitivo vines, we obtain a wine with a deep red colour and persistent aromas of jam. The aging, first in second-use French oak barriques for 18 months, and then for at least another 6 months in the bottle, gives it a strong character, full-bodied, with garnet red reflections. On the palate it expresses its full character with a velvety flavour of black cherry, dried fig, almond and carnations.
